Unified Register of Events

The Register stores information on criminal offences and other violation of law registered in police, persons and objects involved in such offences and violation of law.

Invalid Document Register

The Register is being used in prevention and combating of crimes, ensuring storage, actualization and distribution of information in relation to invalid personal ID documents, temporary documents (for instance, return certificates), mariner certificates and drivers licences issued by organizations in the Republic of Latvia, as well as foreign and international organizations.

Wanted vehicles

The Register is being used in prevention and combating of crimes, ensuring storage, actualization and distribution of data on land vehicles, mechanic vehicles and their state registration number plates registered in the Republic of Latvia and abroad; lost, illegally alienated and searched due to other reasons (except bicycles, mopeds, tractors and their trailers, trams and trolleybuses).

The Register is used for unified accounting of gun weapons, high energy pneumatic weapons and gas pistols (revolvers). The register is used in preventing and combating of crimes.

The Register is used for registration of security certificates, demolition man certificates and demolition work superintendent certificates, as well as licences issued for the State Police. The register is used in preventing and combating of crimes.

The information system is being used to establish administrative liability for ensuring of necessary circulation of information.

Road Police register

To ensure data for public and municipal institution on persons having made administrative offences, administrative penalties applied to these persons and enforcement of such sentences, traffic accidents and their victims.
 

Record keeping categories

Receipt of data is being ensured on specific categories of persons and in relation to security measures and additional penalties applied in the person.

Searching of persons

Purpose of IIIS Sub-system „Searching of persons” is to enhance establishing of location of wanted, missing persons, those persons unable to provide information on themselves and identification of unidentified corpses. The information system is based on achieving goals set at criminal proceedings, administrative offence record keeping, operational investigation and police inspections.
